About
Greenwashing is the act of overstating 'green' claims in any statement, publication or web site. There are high penalties for deliberate or inadvertent greenwashing and whilst most plastics processors are honest, it is still all too easy to fall foul of existing legislation by simply not knowing the rules.

Learning Objectives
The presentation will review why greenwashing matters (and what happens if you do it), eight general actions that you need to take to avoid greenwashing and then seven very specific actions that plastics processors need to take in industry problem areas such as recycling, bio-based content, compostability and carbon footprinting.
