Customized Compound Solutions A/S (CCS) was founded in 2015 as a wholly-owned affiliate of Bjørn Thorsen A/S, developing proprietary compounds and customized sustainable formulations for customers’ specific needs.

CCS portfolio comprises:

• Opti-Pren™ TPV: A diversified family of specialty thermoplastic vulcanizates, offering outstanding rubberlike performance for target markets: Automotive, Wire & Cable, Industrial, Consumer. CCS has also developed pre- and post- consumer recycled Opti-Pren™ grades.

• Opti-Soft™ TPE: A family of thermoplastic elastomers, especially developed to answer specific requirements for target markets: Hose & Tube, Consumer, Sports & Leisure.

• Opti-Flex™ TPO: A low carbon footprint, polyolefin-based family of TPEs, 100% recyclable in PP stream, combining high transparency and flexibility, for target markets: Consumer, Sports & Leisure, Packaging.

• Opti-Max™ Performance powder: Specialty polymer powders for use in compounding and masterbatches.

CCS Capabilities:

With its own R&D lab and processing equipment, CCS offers longstanding experience with modification of TPE compounds, properties tailoring, colour matching and stable processing performance.

Secure access to raw materials through long-lasting key suppliers’ relationships, together with a made-to-inventory policy on key references, ensures reliable supply with short lead-times. CCS products are sourced from ISO-certified manufacturing sites, and the entire portfolio is compliant with RoHS and REACH regulations.
