Tristan Hessing is the founder and director of Future Makers, a pioneering creative studio transforming plastic waste into high-value, sustainable, circular products. With a background in fine art, project management and technical fabrication, Tristan combines design expertise with practical innovation to deliver high-impact circular solutions. He has led projects that merge creativity, engineering and environmental impact, including the award-winning Carpet Creates project, which won the 2025 BPF/Worshipful Company of Horners David Williams Award. Tristan is passionate about showing how businesses, educators and artists can close the loop on plastics, fostering innovation, skills development and circular economy thinking across industries.
