Follow recent changes within the polymer industry demanding PFAS Free Process Aid masterbatches, Wells PM have developed a number of solutions including PFAS Free and Siloxane Free, all offering excellent melt fracture removal comparable to that of the more traditional fluoropolymer based systems.
Wells PM has been a major player in the manufacture and supply of polymer processing aid masterbatches in the film extrusion industry for many years. Recent changes in legislation and concerns over the environmental impact of PFAS materials has necessitated a dramatic rethink of processing aid chemistries.
Wells PM have been working over the last few years to establish a number of commercially available replacement technologies for use as alternatives for traditional fluoropolymer processing aid systems.
Following that extensive work package both laboratory and customer based, a number of successful products have now been commercialised.
