Flame Retardant TPE

KRAIBURG TPE has extensive experience in developing Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) with halogen-free flame-retardant properties.

The FR1 series is your material solution for applications with flame retardant requirements. The compounds are certified according to UL94 V0 (3.0 mm) and halogen-free according to IEC 61249-2-21. They are available in black and natural colors. The natural-colored variants can be dyed in many different ways.

Processing methods: Injection molding, extrusion
Color/RAL version: Natural, black

• Halogen-free (according to IEC 61249-2-21)
• Self-extinguishing, non-flammable dripping - UL 94 V-0 (3 mm)
• Adhesion to PP
• Recycling possible in the processing process
• Pre-coloring possible in all colors
• Temperature stability up to 85 °C
• High glow wire resistance (GWFI) - IEC 60695-2-12:2021-10 (GWFI) 960 °C / 3 mm
• Stability in ambient conditions up to 60 °C and 75% humidity
