Continuous Gravimetric dosing system with extrusion control

For over 30 years, 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 based on the 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀-𝗶𝗻-𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 has played a key role in automating extrusion lines. It ensures precise throughput measurement, independent of bulk density – and continues to be the preferred solution for 𝗰𝗼-𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀.

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹’𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 makes it possible to connect up to seven gravimetric feeders per extruder. Additives and masterbatches are dosed accurately, directly above the extruder feed, eliminating the risk of segregation.

All feeders operate synchronously with the extruders to ensure consistent mixing. 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 are controlled via precise throughput adjustments – even during changes in line speed. The system detects process deviations in real time (e.g. clogged filters, heating issues) and automatically adjusts to maintain 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.
