Badamid is a product group in its own right. These thermoplastic construction materials based on polyamide (PA6, PA66, PA66/6, PA6/6T, PPA, PA9T, PA610, PA612, PA12) feature outstanding, versatile properties. Besides their exceptional mechanical strength and high thermal resistance, polyamides also demonstrate good toughness at low temperatures and favourable friction and abrasion behaviour. Badamid has proven its worth in a variety of technical sectors, e.g. for machine elements, in the electrical, electronic and automobile industry and for construction, furniture-making and leisure applications. Badamid can be further processed by all conventional moulding processes. Advanced modifications to customer specification in respect of reinforcement, toughness, ease of processing, flammability and colour can be realized with excellent results.
