The Laboratory Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship at The S&A Academy equips apprentices with the technical skills and scientific knowledge needed to work in laboratory environments across industries such as engineering, manufacturing, biotechnology, education and research.
Apprentices will learn to prepare and conduct competent laboratory techniques analyse data, maintain lab equipment, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Delivered through a blend of practical workplace experience and structured learning, this apprenticeship develops problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
With expert guidance and hands-on training, apprentices will gain the qualifications and experience needed for a successful career in laboratory science. Learners will develop a strong understanding of scientific techniques, quality control, and industry regulations, preparing them for roles such as Laboratory Technician, Quality Analyst, or Research Assistant.
