LURANYL® KR-blends based on polyphenyl ether (PPE) and impact-resistant polystyrene (PS-I):
Alongside standard types for injection and extrusion moulding applications, our LURANYL® KR range also includes specialist products developed to meet the stringent requirements of individual customers.
LURANYL® KR is characterised by its exceptional thermal deformation resistance and hot water resistance with low water absorption, high impact strength, dimensional stability and a low density. The principal areas of application for LURANYL® KR include the water treatment, electronics and automotive sectors, as well as frequently-sterilised plastic instruments in medicine.
LURANYL® KR has KTW, ACS and WRAS certification.
LURANYL® HT-blends based on polyphenyl ether (PPE) and polyamide (PA):
LURANYL® HT has Vicat softening point temperature of up to 240°C, so powder coating at 200°C is no problem. Heat resistant level is comparable to PSU and PES but chemical resistance is much better.
