Our extensive range of over 30 state-of-the-art moulding machines means that all trade moulding requirements can be met. Rutland Plastics has the capability to produce plastic parts from 1g to 45kg and up to 1.7m in size. If you have a new design and need a tool making, already have a mould tool or just need extra moulding capacity we will be able to support your production needs. Our suite of moulding machines range from 50tonnes to 2400tonnes.
Due to the wide variety of industries and customers that we serve, we have experience processing most injection moulded polymers. This includes prime material, reprocessed plastic, glass filled polymers and mineral/talc filled material. In addition, we use a range of material additives and masterbatches including flame retardants, anti-microbials and blowing agents. Furthermore, we undertake a significant amount of insert and outsert moulding.
Plastic injection mouldings often need to be machined or assembled with other components. At Rutland Plastics we have the expertise, flexibility and facilities to add the finishing touches required. This includes sonic welding, machining, glueing, multi-component assembly and warehousing.
