About the Speaker

Sandra Alós is a specialist in the functionality and safety of plastic materials intended for food contact applications. She holds a degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master’s in Food Quality and Safety, combining a strong foundation in food science with deep expertise in material compliance and performance. Sandra currently works as a Functionality Expert in the Food Contact Department at AIMPLAS, where she advises companies on regulatory compliance, functional testing, and the development of high-performance packaging solutions. Her role involves designing and supervising customized test protocols to evaluate critical parameters such as barrier properties, migration, and material suitability for specific food applications.
