At Tool-Temp, we’ve always believed that precision engineering is only part of the story. The real strength of the company lies in our people. We may be a global business, but in the UK we’ve kept the spirit of a close-knit, people-first organisation. Whether you’re in packaging, sales, purchasing, accounts, marketing, or engineering, every role matters. Without one, there wouldn’t be the other.

Our journey in the UK and Ireland began in 2001, when we opened our first factory in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Demand quickly grew, and by 2007 we had moved to Wellingborough—more space, more stock, more opportunities, and more people joining the adventure. Every step forward meant new jobs created and more Tool-Temp units driving better processes across the region.

In 2021, we celebrated our 20th birthday: two decades of growth, teamwork, and commitment to our customers. The following year, we unveiled the MATIC line with IRIS, a control system so advanced it felt like our machines had a mind of their own. Smarter, more efficient, energy-saving, cost-saving, and incredibly user-friendly, it was a true game-changer.

Today, our management team alone brings well over 100 years of combined experience, with careers stretching back to the 1990s and colleagues choosing to see out their retirement with us. At the same time, we continue to invest in the future. Our teams make visits to Switzerland for advanced training on the latest technology and processes, as well as customer demonstration visits alongside our technical experts, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve and deliver real value.

Sustainability is also central to our approach. By using Tool-Temp’s innovative, energy-efficient temperature control systems, our customers can cut energy usage, reduce CO₂ emissions, and support a more environmentally responsible way of manufacturing without compromising performance.
