About

Mather Engineering Ltd is a fourth-generation, family-run precision engineering and tooling company with a heritage dating back to 1922. Based in Barking, Greater London, the company specialises in designing and manufacturing high-quality mould tools and engineering solutions for a wide range of industries worldwide.

The company’s core expertise lies in tooling for EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) and EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) moulding, supporting sectors that use these materials for packaging, insulation, automotive components and more.  In addition, Mather Engineering Ltd delivers precision rubber moulding tools used across aerospace, automotive, maritime and general component applications, as well as rotational moulding tooling for versatile plastic products.

Alongside mould tooling, the company offers comprehensive engineering services including 3D scanning, CAD design, prototype manufacturing and CNC milling & turning — combining traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing to meet complex project requirements.
